What is the survey about?
Community Living Ontario is partnering with Jess Whitley at the University of Ottawa to conduct a survey to better understand children’s inclusive schooling experience. We are interested in hearing about your child(ren)’s experiences with inclusion – including specific questions about exclusion, seclusion, and restraint.
Who is the survey for?
The survey is for families whose child(ren) are attending school in Ontario this school year (September 2022- June 2023), whether or not they have experienced exclusion, seclusion or restraint. It will take between 5 and 25 minutes to complete, depending on your experiences and how much information you choose to share. The information you share is completely anonymous, and the data will be owned by the research team.

Will I be paid to do the survey?
To thank you for your contribution to the research project, you will be given the option to enter your name in a draw for several prizes of Amazon gift cards.

Quel est l'objet de l'enquête ?
Community Living Ontario s'associe à Jess Whitley de l'Université d'Ottawa pour mener une enquête afin de mieux comprendre l'expérience des enfants en matière de scolarisation inclusive. Nous aimerions connaître l'expérience de votre (vos) enfant(s) en matière d'inclusion - y compris des questions spécifiques sur l'exclusion, l'isolement et la contention.
À qui s'adresse l'enquête ?
L'enquête s'adresse aux familles dont les enfants sont scolarisés en Ontario cette année scolaire (septembre 2022-juin 2023), qu'ils aient ou non été victimes d'exclusion, d'isolement ou de contention. Il vous faudra entre 5 et 25 minutes pour répondre à l'enquête, en fonction de vos expériences et de la quantité d'informations que vous choisirez de partager.
Les informations que vous partagez sont totalement anonymes et les données seront la propriété de l'équipe de recherche.

Serai-je rémunéré pour répondre à l'enquête ?
Pour vous remercier de votre contribution au projet de recherche, vous aurez la possibilité de participer au tirage au sort de plusieurs prix sous forme de cartes-cadeaux Amazon.
